Es scheint ja tatsächlich eine Twin Peaks Fortsetzung zu geben:
Beide Creators, Lynch und Mark Frost, haben zeitgleich den gleichen Tweet abgesetzt, das berühmte "that gum you like is going to come back in style" - Zitat aus der Serie.

Und Ray Wise (Leland Palmer) sagt dazu:
"They wouldn’t remake it. If anything was done, it would be 25 years later. It would never be a remake of anything we already did. Maybe you just didn’t mean to use that word, I don’t know. - und ich finde, das ist auch genau der Ansatz, den sie dafür wählen sollten.
